I gasp for air,
Its not there,
Barely I’m still alive,
Squirming Churning,
Inside I’m Burning,
Be lucky If I Survive,
Round and round,
Fall to the ground,
Down is the only way,
Kicking Screaming,
Abstract feelings,
Fast I burn and decay,
Always wrong never right,
My end it is in sight,
So filled with sin,
Let the devil in,
Forever we shall fight,
Out of it so far I’ve fell,
Stuck in this gravity well,
Forever I descend,
It just never ends,
The burning road to hell….
Not knowing much about you, seems like you were fighting for your life. Like you thought it was the end, yet you didn’t want it to be. Not just bc you weren’t ready to die, but bc you felt like you had done things you wouldn’t have time to atone for. You didn’t want to go to hell for things that were out of your control.
Can also be metaphorical, in that you were doing things that you would surely go to hell for and you couldn’t do anything about it. The one line “forever we shall fight” then following with the next, “out of it so far I fell” speaks of disillusionment. Like the reason you started was so far from where you were at that moment.
While I don’t like the content in this one, I actually really like this poem. Made me think and then when I thought I figured it out, I looked at it from another angle. Who knows, maybe both are wrong. 🤷♀️

Regardless of what the poet is trying to put out in his/her words, the beauty of poetry is that it is left open to interpretation by its readers…

This is quite dark, but very visual . I can almost see it.

Thank you for your feedback, I have so many more to post, just got to find time to do so. I get taken in a moment, or with someone and then I start writing. Once again thank you.
